Talk with your Orb, and that's it. If you'd rather do it by hand: a 15 second video, a photo from the live camera, a 30 second voice note, or a mood, which is an emoji and one word. Adding the place is optional, and it is only ever the place, never a live location.
The Orb is Flare. It's the thing you talk to, the thing that talks back, and the light that moves while it does. It looks and sounds the same for everyone, because it is there to tell you about your life, not about itself.
Tap the Orb and it starts talking, usually in about a second. It gives you one to three things that changed, has a short conversation with you about your day, and offers to pass something along to a friend. Ninety seconds is a long one.
Send them your link, or search their username. Friendships here only exist in both directions, so nothing happens until they say yes.
The friends you chose, and nobody else. There is no public profile, no way for a stranger to find you, and nothing leaves the app unless you tell your Orb to pass it on.
