## How it works

1. **It opens talking.** Open Flare and your Orb is already talking: one to three fresh things, picked because they matter to you. Never a blank screen, never a question you have to answer first.
2. **You just talk.** Where you are, what you're doing, how it felt, your Orb pulls it out of the conversation on its own. That's a flare: video up to 15 seconds, photo from the camera, voice note up to 30 seconds, or a mood (emoji plus a label). No forms, no posing, no camera roll.
3. **It points you at a person.** Your Orb decides what's worth passing along and asks before it sends anything. You decide what travels, and who hears it.

## The Orb

The Orb is both Flare's visual identity and its voice interface. Visually, it is an animated shader orb. Each lifestyle category maps to a color, and your top categories form organic territories. Every user's orb is unique and evolves as their life evolves.

## What your Orb notices

Flare runs on AI that works for the user, not for engagement metrics. Externally, all of it is credited to "your Orb," which is always working on three things:

- **What your friends are up to** — it notices what's happening with them and tells you the parts you would have wanted to know.
- **The patterns in your own life** — it shows you how your weeks actually go, without you tracking a single thing.
- **What's forming between you** — it spots what's building between you and the people who matter, usually before you notice it yourself.

Conversations get shorter over time, not longer. The more it knows, the less it has to ask.

## What Flare will not do

- No follower count.
- No public profile to rank.
- No algorithmic feed.

- No place to perform for strangers.

## How Flare compares
